lab-dub

we had our first sonogram yesterday.. i felt a bit disappointed.. but dont get me wrong though.. i was thrilled to hear our baby's heartbeat for the first time =) it was just that, the moment only lasted for a few seconds and we didnt even get to record it.. i also though that we were going to see our little peanut and how he/she has grown for the past weeks.. sadly, no..

i wonder if it will be like this for the next few visits.. *sigh* i might have to ask that the next time we visit the doctor..

ok, ok.. i guess we just werent told what to expect on that visit.. according to my research =p , it wasnt a sonogram.. it was a fetal doppler.. the baby's heart is beating just loud enough for this equipment to pick up.. so maybe next time, we'll get to see him/her? =)
