progesterone level

i got a call from the doctor's (OB) office today regarding yesterday's bloodwork..

it would seem that i have a low level of progesterone.. i did a research on the net and found out that women that is low on this hormone is more prone to miscarriage =( the doctor prescribed that i take a vaginal medicine to increase my hormone level.. *sigh* the medine is quite expensive.. even with the insurance, it still costs $190.. im not sure for how long that's gonna last..

also, i've an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow.. they wanted to make sure about the first day of my last period coz if they were to base how far i am on that, i should be on my sixth week.. however, they said that i could be further than that.. not sure where they based that.. probably on the blood test..

o well, i'll know tomorrow for sure..

i really hope everything's ok and that i dont need to take that medicine anymore..

by the way, my blood type is O+ =)
